HI! For as much as I write about myself on the home blogging page I am at a loss to know what to write here. I am supposed to provide you with pertinent facts “about” me…hence, I guess, the title of this page.
- So what can I tell you about me?
-I am female creeping towards middle age.
-I am happily married to Tom(13 years in December)!
-I have no human kids.
-I have 100′s of “adopted kids”, i.e. the students I used to teach in St. Louis.
-I have two dogs. My son Cheech the chihuahua. My daughter Zeli the basenji. (I’ll post ya a link so you can read what the heck a basenji is.)
-I have an arabian horse named Phoenix. While he doesn’t call me mom, he does like to give me kisses on my arm.
-I was recently diagnosed with hemochromatosis. (Woo-Hoo…It was the day after my birthday!) Until then I had never heard of the disease. I still haven’t found one person I know, outside of the medical field, who had heard of the disease before my diagnosis.
My blog is basically autobiographical. You can hunt and peck if you’d like, but if you’re a newcomer you might want to start with a couple of the first entries to get the general flavor of the thing. (lemon/lime!)
Entry #1 “Hemochromawhatsis”
